One of the novelties of the 2025 Santoña Carnival Murga Contest.
The idea of creating a murga came up during the Virgen del Puerto festival in 2023, when they were celebrating with David, the president of Los Maky’s.
It all started when he sent them a voice message in a group that included his daughter and her friends. They began considering the possibility of forming a new group, but by the time they realized it, it was too late to participate in the 2024 carnival.
That year, they were left with the desire to experience the carnival from a different perspective, as murguistas. So, this year, with more time and better preparation, they decided to get serious and take part in this year’s carnival.
Since David gave them the idea and they would receive help from the peña Los Maky’s, they wanted to bring its essence to the stage, leaving shyness behind and going out to enjoy themselves.
This is their first year, and from Murga Las Kary’s, they want to thank Murga Los Maky’s for all the support provided, with a special mention to David, Pitufo, and Pocholo.
