Located in the eastern part of Cantabria, in the bay that bears its name and at the foot of Mount Buciero, its location makes it a unique destination.
It is bordered to the north by Berria beach, to the south by San Martín beach, to the east by Mount Buciero and to the west by the fishing port and the marshes.
Santoña is located 45 kilometres from Santander and 70 from Bilbao, with excellent communications via the A-8.
Two bus lines operate daily between the town and the capital of the province and, due to its ideal location, you can fly from either Santander or Bilbao airports.
Furthermore, if you want to enjoy the train, about 9 km from Santoña is the village of Gama, where you can take the regular railway line between Santander and Bilbao.
