The draw will be held on Wednesday 13 December at 20:30h in the Assembly Hall of Santoña Town Hall.

Once the registration period ended on 7 December, 17 Murgas will take part in the Carnival of Santoña 2024 competition. There will be 12 in the adult category and 5 in the children's category.

 There will be 12 participants in the adult category, repeating the ten groups that took part in 2023, to which we will add the return of the murga "Artistas" and a newly created murga called "Los trotamurgas".

- The Galipoteros.

- Friends of Chechu.
- Los Canallas.

The competition will kick off on 26 January and will continue until 8 February with the Grand Final.

 In the children's category, 5 groups will take part in the exhibition of children's murgas at Carnival 2024.
If in adults we were congratulated for having 2 more groups, in the children's category it was not going to be less and we will also have two more groups with respect to 2023. The return of the "Canallitas", and the creation of a new group called "los Makynillas".

The presentation of the children's murgas will be on Sunday 4th February and the grand final will be on Friday 9th February, as part of the children's day of Carnival.
