REGULATORY RULES OF THE CONTEST TO SELECT THE POSTER ANNOUNCER OF THE SANTOÑA CARNIVAL
-FIRST: Any natural person can participate without age limit.
The poster must be unpublished and its design cannot have been presented in any other contest or selected as an image for any other poster.
The theme will be of free choice, sticking to one or more motifs of the Sailor Carnival.
-SECOND: The criteria for choosing the poster will be: attract attention, generate visibility, interest and desire to attend the Santoña Carnival 2024.
-THIRD: The presentation size will be 50 cm wide by 60 cm high.
-FOURTH: The text that must appear on the poster with preference will be: "Santoña", "Carnival", "2024" and the dates of celebration "from January 26 to February 24" in the order in which the author deems .
The text: "Festival of Tourist Interest" must also appear, on a secondary basis.
-FIFTH: The technique for creating the poster will be freely chosen by the author and contributed by him, as long as it allows it to be reproduced in real size through offset printing.
-SIXTH: The posters participating in this contest will be presented within TWENTY (20) calendar days from the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. The maximum number of posters presented per contestant will be 2 posters.
-SEVENTH: The works selected by the Jury will remain in the possession of the Santoña City Council, which reserves all rights over them. In the event that a third party claims total or partial rights over any poster presented by the participants of the call, the Santoña City Council would be exonerated from all responsibility.
-EIGHTH: The prize will be 1,000 euros for the winner (subject to the corresponding withholdings).
-NINTH: The Celebrations Department of the Santoña City Council will appoint a Jury composed of the members of the Celebrations Commission, as well as other people outside of said Commission freely designated by the President of the Commission who will make a first selection by choosing the 3 most voted posters, taking place in the first 5 calendar days following the end of the presentation of the works. Subsequently, anyone who wants can go to the Tourist Office, located on Santander Street, to cast their vote, choosing the winning poster from among those three. The days to vote will be the first 5 business days following the first screening and only one vote per person will be allowed. The next business day, a Celebration Commission will be held, in which its members will count the votes cast, making the winning poster official.
