Tomorrow, December 16, the registration period for the 2023 murgas contest opens.

It is hereby informed that by Decree of the Mayor's Office dated December 2, 2022, the opening of the call for registrations for the MURGAS COMPETITION 2023 has been approved, with the following literal tenor:

"Having seen the administrative file in progress and having seen the documents contained therein, related to the MURGAS COMPETITION 2023, by this Mayor's Office, IT IS RESOLVED:

1º.- Approve the opening of the call for registrations for the 2023 murgas contest, through an announcement in the Official Gazette of Cantabria, clarifying that the following announcements of the electronic file that is being processed will be made public through the bulletin board of the Hon. Santona Town Hall.

The Regulations of the Bases of the aforementioned contest are included in Annex V of the 2022 Budget and have been published in the BOC.

2º.- The inscriptions will be made in the official model, and in a sealed envelope.

3rd-. Registrations will be submitted within FIFTEEN (15) business days from the day following the publication of the announcement of this call in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. Said inscriptions may be presented at the City Hall's Record of Entry of documents, by mail and by any of the means admitted by Law. Submission by any means other than direct submission to the City Hall Document Entry Register will oblige the participating murga to send an email to the City Hall within 24 hours at the following address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., communicating the presentation of the registration and the means as it has been done. If this requirement is not met, the registration received after the established period will not be accepted.

4º.- Give this Resolution the corresponding procedures".
